About BoLu
"Education Matters"
Founder's Message
At Bolu, we want to set the standard of the future in empowering students to achieve their dreams.

Our aim is to bridge the academic and learning gap for students traditionally deprived of educational opportunities primarily because of racial, socioeconomic, and sex/gender impediments. The Bridging Our Learning Universe (BoLu) idea is to create a platform that provides education resources for K-12 students and families who traditionally have been marginalized in the learning process.

In the end, we believe that education is a tool for self-empowerment and the development of one’s mind, body, and spirit.

Our Team
Our core team has an extraordinarily diverse background skillset. We have experience in education, technology, and marketing and range across all major age groups.
As a university professor and former university administrator, Baruti has witnessed the joys and triumphs of students being well prepared for college and having selected the right college. He also has seen student frustration with being underprepared for college life and their agony for attending the wrong college. However, it was supporting his sons through the college application process that magnified the need to create a platform that would centralize the resources to build a strong educational base and navigate the complex world of college application.
